David Ferguson is a Montana native. He attended Brigham Young University as an undergrad where he studied Arabic and philosophy. He graduated law school from the University of Utah in 2016. While there he was a senior editor for the law review and a global justice fellow. He then clerked for judges James Brady and Kraig Powell in the Utah Fourth District. He also was an SFO certified deputy for Utah County and performed bailiff duties in the court. He went on to become a public defender in West Valley City and now at LDA. He has published on Middle East antiterrorism law.
