Michael Misner

Michael Misner grew up in Salt Lake City, and went to the University of Utah where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  He then moved to San Francisco to attend U.C. Hastings College of Law.  While at Hastings he spent most of his time participating in moot court competitions and working at the Marin Public Defender’s Office, as well as spending a summer working as a law clerk for Senator Hatch in Washington D.C. and the Senate Judiciary Committee.  Michael graduated from Hastings in 1999 and moved back to Utah.  Michael is a member of the Utah Bar Association and the California Bar Association.  Michael began working for Salt Lake Legal Defenders as a trial attorney in 2001 and has trial experience ranging from public intoxication to aggravated murder and is a capital qualified attorney.
