Biography

Janet Lawrence joined the appellate division of the Salt Lake Legal Defender Association in 2020. Before joining LDA, she clerked for Judges James Brady and James Taylor in the Fourth District and Justices Christine Durham and Deno Himonas on the Utah Supreme Court. She graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2016 where she served as Editor in Chief of the BYU Law Review.
